Even after 50 years after his death in the sewers of Vienna "Orson Welles" Harry Lime still haunts the city. The scars of the WW2 have long disappeared but surprisingly, most of the locations of Caroll Reed´s 1949 film classic have remained unchanged and still attracts visitors to explore them.

The meeting point of the tour is the in front of the underground station “Stadtpark” / exit Johannesgasse, Vienna.
Please report at the meeting point 15 minutes before the start time. This is mandatory to allow time for pre-departure briefing.
Mölkerbastei (First District, near the City Hall)
Your tour will depart from the front of the underground station “Stadtpark” / exit Johannesgasse in the afternoon at 4:00pm. You will need to be at the meeting point at least 10 minutes prior to the departure. Accompanied by a multi-lingual guide, you will be taken on a walking tour of Vienna tracing back the locations of the film, The Third Man.
Walk through the cobbled lanes and hidden courtyards of Old Vienna that inspired the author Graham Greene to write the screen play for The Third Man (1949), a British film directed by Carol Reed. See the places where Harry Lime lived, appeared, disappeared and eventually died.
Learn about the fascinating story of how one of the all-time greatest films was made and what Vienna was like in the days of Allied occupation, Cold War espionage and the black market (route change is possible).
Your tour will finish at Mölkerbastei (First District, near the City Hall).
